DAZOQ monitors electricity 24 hours a day - looking for new investments
High energy costs have caused headaches for many business leaders the latest year. Tech company DAZOQ in Linköping aims to alleviate the problem - and secures fresh financing
DAZOQ was founded by two master's students at Linköping University who met during their studies and realized they both came from the same region in India. They came up with the idea for DAZOQ, which helps industrial companies monitor and optimize their energy consumption in real-time. This is done through the use of wireless sensors and a web-based interface.
Now, DAZOQ is raising over 5 million SEK in new seed capital. According to the ownership database Eivora, this is done at a valuation of 34 million SEK after invested capital. Previous investors in DAZOQ include former professional hockey player Mattias Weinhandl and LIU Invest, operated by Linköping University. LIAF - Linköping Business Angels - has also invested in the company.
