Energy efficiency project in Stockholm Region
Vi är glada att berätta att vi, tack vare finansiering av Tillväxtverket och Region Stockholm, inlett energieffektiviseringsprojekt hos tre tillverkande industrier. Projektets syfte är att stegvis förbättra energieffektiviteten hos AB Industrigummi, Cahbo Produkter och Aktiebolaget Klaes Jansson. Vi är tacksamma för det finansiella stöd som Tillväxtverket och Region Stockholm bidrar med så att fler verksamheter har möjligheten att arbeta mot en mer hållbar energihantering och en grönare morgondag.
Som ett inledande steg kollar vi på de lågt hängande frukterna hos verksamheterna för att se hur vi kan förbättra energieffektiviteten. Detta innefattar bland annat att stänga av maskiner/processer som inte används och enklare åtgärder som kan uppnås med beteendeförändringar eller ändrade inställningar på maskiner. Men det slutar inte där. Nu måste bolagen göra någon förändring för att faktiskt kunna åstadkomma de besparingar som identifierats. Vi är glada att vi kan bidra till att identifiera lågt-hängande frukter och skapa kunskap så att man kan basera energieffektiviseringsarbetet på fakta istället för gissningar. Låt oss presentera lite mer om bolagen som ingår i projektet och vilken potential vi hittills har hittat.
Aktiebolaget Industrigummi With over 75 years of industry experience, AB Industrigummi possesses extensive knowledge in the production of injection-molded and compression-molded rubber products. The easiest and most immediate energy efficiency gains in this context can be achieved through optimizing the heating process for molding and reducing standby power consumption.
Cahbo produkter specializes in sheet metal processing and provides services such as bending in press brakes, punching, welding, and drumming. Cahbo's initial steps involve improving their practice of turning off machines when not in use and transitioning parts of their production from energy-intensive machines to more energy-efficient ones. Additionally, they will explore the possibility of changing their heating system, potentially reducing electricity consumption related to heating by approximately 70%.
Aktiebolaget Klaes Jansson has been providing Stockholmers with locally produced flat glass products since 1899. In their modern facility, they have everything from cutting tables, CNC machines, glass painting, tempering ovens, and insulating glass production. Klaes Jansson aims to be Sweden's most sustainable glass supplier and is continuously working to reduce their carbon footprint, now with the help of DAZOQ EI."I initially thought that we would only identify energy thieves and eliminate them. However, during the startup meeting, we realized that we can also see the energy consumption of different products, thus identifying products that consume less electricity. By specifying the products correctly, we can optimize our energy consumption. Additionally, we can track the flow through the machines to get precise data on how efficiently the machines are producing." , says Magnus Palm, Sustainability Manager at AB Klaes Jansson and the concern Glasgruppen.
